Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting an individual entry form for the 2012 Corinthian Cup.

If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions please do not submit your entry form. If you use the website and/or submit an entry form you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions as they will form a contract between you and us.

1 Who are we - This is the website of the 2012 Corinthian Cup real tennis tournament organised and hosted jointly by the Cambridge University Real Tennis Club, Hatfield House Tennis Club and the Newmarket Real Tennis Club. Correspondence should be addressed to Corinthian Cup, Cambridge University Real Tennis Club, Burrells Walk, Grange Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DJ. References in these Terms to 'we' or 'us' are to the Corinthian Cup organisers. For more information go to About and Contact Us.

2 Credit card information - Irrespective of the initial payment method you use in conjunction with your entry form we will require your credit card details in order to settle your account for incidental expenditure incurred during the Tournament, for example on optional social events booked by sign-up list or club catering consumption requested and recorded by sales voucher. By submitting the entry form you agree to provide your credit card details when you register on arrival at the 2012 Corinthian Cup and for those details to be used at the end of the Tournament to settle in full all charges incurred during the Tournament and itemised on your Tournament account statement.

3 Tournament Rules - The 2012 Corinthian Cup tennis competitions will be run subject to the Tournament Rules shown on this website.

4 Changes - The format and content of this site will change constantly as the entry process progresses and throughout the Tournament. You should refresh your browser each time you visit the site to ensure that you access the most up-to-date version.

5 Accessing the site - Because the site will be able to accommodate user contributed data, text and photographs we reserve the right in our sole discretion to remove any material we consider inappropriate and to deny any user access to the site or any part of it without prior notice.

6 Using the site - You agree to only use the site in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations and is consistent with the Terms and does not infringe the rights of anyone else, nor restrict or inhibit their use and enjoyment of the site (including, without limitation, by hacking).

7 Privacy - We take your privacy very seriously and will treat all of your personal information in accordance with all applicable data protection laws in England and Wales. Any personal information provided by you through use of this web site will only be used to update entrant records and other Tournament related activities. You agree that such personal information (but not credit card or personal account data) as is necessary for the smooth running of the Tournament may be accessed by all competitors.

8 Disclaimers - We do not warrant that the functions contained in this site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represent full functionality, accuracy or reliability of the materials. We will not be liable for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system or any other damages (including amongst other losses, loss of profit or loss of use) arising out of your use or delay or inability to use the site, its content or any link to another web site arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing in this disclaimer applies to any products which you purchase from the site.

9 Liability
 9.1. We do not limit in any way our liability by law for fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

 9.2. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where:-

   9.2.1. loss or damage was not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the site or when a contract for the sale by us to you was formed;

   9.2.2. loss or damage was not caused by any breach by us, our employees or agents; or

   9.2.3. loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure).

 9.3 Our maximum liability to you in relation to any event or series of related events will be limited to the entry fee paid.

If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to from this website, you do so entirely at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all the time and we have no control over the availability of the linked pages.

 10.2. If you wish to link from your website to our site you may do so only on the basis that you link to the home page. At any time and at our complete discretion we reserve the right to withdraw the permission to make website links to our sites.

11 Severance - If any of these Terms should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country which apply to these Terms, then to the extent and within that jurisdiction in which that Term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

12 Waiver - If you breach these Terms and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach these Terms.

13 Events Beyond our Control - We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivering any services or order or breach of our obligations, if the delay or breach is due to acts of God, civil commotion, riots, malicious damage, floods, drought, fire, legislation, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider or other cause beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

14 Law, Courts and Language - These Terms, use of our sites and the supply of products and services by us are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with English law. In the event of any dispute arising in relation to these Terms, use of our sites or in relation to the supply of any products or services by us the English courts will have jurisdiction over the dispute. These Terms and this site are provided in the English language only.
